From raising awareness for charitable causes to coastal clean-ups, meet the off-roaders driving change in Dubai’s community
Dubai is a city of diversity. Home to more than three million residents—85% of whom are expatriates from nearly 200 nationalities—it has nurtured an inclusive environment in which every individual is made to feel welcome.
Many grassroots groups are committed to strengthening the community spirit of Dubai. One such group is Jeep Nation UAE, a collective of off-roading enthusiasts who—coming from all walks of life—are a testament to the inclusivity of Dubai.
Under a vision to be the premium and most impactful Jeep community across the UAE, Jeep Nation UAE has spent the past six years fostering social connections through a shared desire to explore the beauty of Dubai’s varied terrain.
Coming together
“We have the desert, we have the mountains, we have the valleys, we have the beaches,” says Saif Qadoumi, CEO and Founder of Jeep Nation UAE. “Anything you want to do, you will find it in Dubai.”
What began as a group of four-five friends driving their Jeeps in convoy is now a community of 1,000 people, whose endeavors extend way beyond desert meetups and off-roading adventures. Members of Jeep Nation UAE are also patrons of numerous charitable initiatives, including breast cancer awareness meetings, coastal clean-ups, and relief efforts, like those during the Dubai floods in April 2024.

“Everyone in the group was willing to support,” reveals Qadoumi, helping to remove cars from flooded areas and provide food, water, and medication to citizens who couldn’t access them due to high water levels. “That showed the love of people towards each other [which] gave us the power to work harder.”
Giving back
Their unwavering support proved that, in moments of crisis, the strength, resilience, and compassion of Dubai’s people will always prevail. United by a common ground that they call home, they will forever have the best interests of their neighbors and their city at heart.”
As Qadoumi explains, “Dubai has showed us that it is our playground to enjoy; the least we can do is give back.
