From Jupiter, With Love

Bioastronautics researcher Kellie Gerardi is training for a 2023 mission to space, preparing for intergalactic conditions through the International Institute of Astronautical Sciences’ Project PoSSUM. She is one of an elite group of women astronauts going to space next year. What makes Kellie’s story even more special is her equal dedication to her 4-year-old daughter, Delta. For hundreds of years, space has captured children’s imaginations, and here we will see through Delta’s eyes an up-close view of her mother preparing for launch and traveling to her new frontier in the Range Rover Velar.
