The automotive industry is transitioning to electric and hybrid technology, ushering in an era of cleaner, greener transportation at every level, from personal to public and commercial vehicles.<\/p><p>Al-Futtaim Automotive, one of the major divisions of the Al-Futtaim Group, has demonstrated a commitment to sustainability. As early adopters, the company introduced hybrid electric vehicles to the UAE through a collaboration with Toyota. This partnership grew, recently delivering a fleet of 554 Toyota Camry Electric Hybrid vehicles to the Dubai Taxi Corporation. It continues to set ambitious targets, such as providing 50% of new energy vehicles (NEVs) and 10% of the UAE&#8217;s charging stations by 2030. And as the largest distributor in the UAE, its actions will have an impact beyond its ability to deliver vehicles.<\/p><p>The introduction of the Charge2Moov electric charging solution, a wide-reaching e-mobility ecosystem developed with Siemens, will bring NEV access to more people.
