Visitors of all ages, both locals and tourists alike, flow from the Siam Skytrain station onto an open-air plaza elevated above the din of the traffic below. Some head straight to Siam Paragon to explore the new marine exhibit at one of Asia’s largest aquariums, while trendsetters make their way across the plaza to delve into the latest street fashion at Siam Center. More than mere retail destinations, Bangkok’s malls are also cultural hubs, home to global luxury brands, incubators for unique collaborations, and hosts of world-class events like the annual year-end countdown celebration at ICONSIAM.
The Siam area exemplifies the multi-faceted essence of Bangkok, a vibrant metropolis celebrated for its blend of traditional charm with contemporary luxuries and world-class shopping and dining. This is further amplified by the ONESIAM experience, a collective of six destinations across the city, namely Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM, ICS, and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok. Each destination features immersive retail and dining concepts, exciting attractions and events, including a three-month-long celebration to ring in the new year.
From November 2024 to January 2025, events designed to awaken all your senses will take place across all six destinations. The adjacent Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery will transform the retail center of Bangkok into a festive hub with ‘The Forever Magic Celebration’ featuring special shopping promotions, menu collaborations, a lineup of music events and performances, and joyous countdown celebrations. Making the most of its riverside location, ICONSIAM will also stage a series of events, including cultural activities to celebrate Loy Krathong—Thailand’s Festival of Lights—in November, followed by ‘Bangkok Illumination,’ the lighting of the Christmas tree and festive light displays along the waterfront, before closing off the year with the ‘Iconic Celebration of Thai-Global Phenomena,’ one of the city’s biggest countdown celebrations, featuring musical performances and spectacular fireworks as the clock strikes midnight.
Gourmet Adventures
Renowned as a culinary paradise, Bangkok offers a wide range of dining experiences that cater to every palate. For diners seeking an elevated Michelin-starred experience, Blue by Alain Ducasse at the riverside ICONSIAM stands out as the first Thailand outpost of the decorated French chef with over 20 Michelin stars to his name. For a mix of Thai and international flavors, Flavor Lab at Siam Discovery introduces innovative dining concepts, including Roberta’s, the legendary Brooklyn pizzeria’s second location outside the United States, and Kungthong, serving authentic Thai-style seafood dishes to satisfy diners’ Tom Yum Kung cravings.
For a taste of Bangkok’s street food culture, Gourmet Eats at Siam Paragon offers a convenient shortcut to enjoying popular local eateries like Thipsamai Padthai and Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice, bypassing the long queues found at their original locations.
Retail Therapy
Through collaborations with lifestyle and international brands, the ONESIAM experience offers shoppers in Thailand a delightful mix of traditional Thai craftsmanship and global luxury throughout the year, complemented by seasonal flea markets and fashion pop-up stores to celebrate the year-end festive season. Spanning two floors in ICONSIAM, Thai craft store ICONCRAFT showcases the rich heritage and contemporary creativity of local artisans. Absolute Siam Store at Siam Center, on the other hand, is a multi-brand shop presenting Thai pop culture through trendy clothing and accessories. Also in Siam Center, street fashion enthusiasts will enjoy perusing popular sportswear and sneaker brands, including the country’s first Foot Locker.
For classic high-end fashion, LUXE HALL at Siam Paragon provides a comprehensive luxury zone that includes dedicated fashion collections and accessories for men, while bargain hunters can discover deals on an impressive portfolio of global luxury brands at Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok.
Urban Explorations
The ONESIAM experience offers more than just dining and shopping; it includes some of the city’s most thrilling attractions suitable for visitors of all ages. At Siam Paragon, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World provides a mesmerizing aquarium experience featuring hundreds of marine species including sharks, sea turtles, and penguins. Nearby at Siam Discovery, Legend Heroes Sports offers an interactive and immersive sports experience where visitors can play screen sports such as skiing and baseball, while Madame Tussauds allows visitors to get up close with over 90 lifelike wax figures of their favorite celebrities and notable personalities.

Continuing in October 2024, an art festival immerses visitors in Bangkok’s vibrant arts and crafts scene, followed by a series of global fashion events showcasing established local and global designers who are shaping the world of fashion. Throughout November and December, each property pulls out all the stops to deliver spectacular celebrations to ring in the new year with the ‘The Magical Celebration’ year-end celebration and New Year’s countdown festivities, featuring exhibitions, food festivals, toy showcases, fashion markets and promotions, and other international events curated to celebrate art, music and culture.
Other planned ICONIC events in 2025 marking Chinese New Year (January), Songkran (April), and Pride Month (June), as well as a special privilege card for tourists, ensure that the ONESIAM experience continues to offer a fulfilling journey for visitors year-round.
