A new way to enjoy the Riviera Maya

Full of ethnic, gastronomic, and natural diversity, Mexico is a favored destination for those seeking an unforgettable vacation. Hidden among so much diversity is an ideal, cultural getaway, Hotel Xcaret Arte, offering adults a unique concept of specialized fun in the heart of the Riviera Maya.

Created to revolutionize the experience of an unforgettable vacation, Hotel Xcaret Arte invites adults to explore the wonders of Mexico and the Riviera Maya, all in one place. Through its All-Fun Inclusive concept and luxury culinary proposal, it brings together adventure, gastronomy, landscapes, entertainment, tradition, and a unique element in hospitality: art.

Known worldwide for its idyllic white sand beaches and beautiful turquoise sea, this region is a perfect combination of jungle and the Caribbean, the modern and the ancestral, culture and rest. The Riviera Maya and its neighboring destination, Cancun, were recognized in 2021 by the World Travel Awards as the best beach destinations in all of North America.

The art of resting

Staying at Hotel Xcaret Arte is far from a conventional experience. After a comfortable, complimentary transfer, guests arrive at a paradise that integrates nature, contemporary and eco-conscious architecture, sustainability, and art.

The hotel is divided into five casas (houses), providing special activities and workshops, such as weaving, painting, pottery, dance, and literature. Each casa represents a different facet of Mexico’s cultural richness, encouraging guests to express the artisan they have within.

In the Casa del Diseño, guests can enjoy a weaving workshop where they are taught by teachers with generations of ancestral knowledge; the Casa de los Artistas includes a painting workshop; and the Casa de la Pirámide offers a pottery workshop where guests can unleash their creativity and create personalized souvenirs.

Dancing is also a part of Mexico’s artistic wealth, which is why the Casa de la Música offers advanced dance workshops. The Casa de la Paz hosts a workshop for literature lovers, and the Casa del Patrón invites guests to immerse themselves in its coffee shop to discover the exquisite notes of Mexican coffee, which ranked 12th in world exports in 2018.

The rooms reflect the hotel’s artistic concept. With exclusive handcraft decorations created by local workers, Hotel Xcaret Arte embodies the country’s rich cultural heritage. Elements such as embroidery, nest lamps, and other traditional designs are showcased around the hotel.

Some of the casas have rooftop bars, from which guests can enjoy views of the Riviera Maya, while sipping cocktails. For those looking for a more daring atmosphere, the hotel has a speakeasy (El Deseo) bar, where America’s roaring 20s are evoked through its unmistakable Art Deco décor.

Hotel Xcaret Arte is a hub for major cultural, musical, gastronomic, and festive events, thanks to a theater for shows and two convention centers located in the Casa del Patrón. It offers a capacity for around 2,000 people for larger functions, including several smaller, welcoming spaces for more focused work sessions. Additionally, facing the waters of the Mexican Caribbean is the Ecumenical Temple, where different types of ceremonies are performed.

Unlimited fun

Hotel Xcaret Arte allows guests to enjoy unique adventure experiences, through which they can explore Mexico’s natural wealth – the fourth most biodiverse country in the world

On hotel grounds, sports lovers can try kayaking, one of the best ways to enjoy the natural wonders of the Mexican Caribbean. Paddle boarding is also available, allowing guests to find a sense of calm on the waters of the coves.

The All-Fun Inclusive concept is unique to Hotel Xcaret Arte and allows unlimited access to the most popular and renowned theme parks in the Riviera Maya: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco, Xenotes, and Xavage, with transportation provided by the hotel.

Each park promises a fun, unforgettable experience such as navigating underground rivers, snorkeling, marveling at the famous cenotes, driving monster trucks, swimming in stalactite-filled rivers, and even experiencing Mayan culture.

For adrenaline seekers, Xplor Park offers the thrill of flying through the skies on the highest zip line in the entire Riviera Maya. Xcaret Xailing provides an opportunity to travel offshore to enjoy the famous Isla Mujeres (Women Island). All-Fun Inclusive also allows guests of Hotel Xcaret Arte to marvel at the Mesoamerican Reef System – the second longest in the world.

The art of cooking

Using Mexico’s heritage, bold flavors, and authentic ingredients, Hotel Xcaret Arte offers its quintessential gastronomy, which helped the country earn Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity status by UNESCO in 2010.

Gastronomy is a journey for the senses and, with this in mind, Hotel Xcaret Arte created one of the most exclusive food collectives in the country. Internationally recognized chefs come together to serve culinary works of art, based on a fusion of styles from different cultures. These include Michelin-star chef, Paco Méndez, in the Encanta restaurant in the Casa de la Música, where guests can savor a tasting menu made up of contemporary Mexican cuisine.

Among the nine dining experiences, Xaak restaurant stands out with a menu of contemporary cuisine created by chefs Roberto Solís, Franco Maddalozzo, Paco Méndez, Jonatán Gómez Luna, and Alejandro Ruiz. This surprising culinary journey is complemented with pairings by the multi-award-winning sommelier Sandra Fernández. Although this restaurant is not included in the All-Fun Inclusive offer, it can be enjoyed by all Hotel Xcaret Arte guests.
