A New Era of Luxury

Air Travel
As France’s leading airline launches a fully reimagined ground and in-flight experience, it seeks to answer the question of how you pair the exclusivity of a jet-like travel experience with the convenience of a major airline.
Appealing to the modern traveler
For over ninety years, Air France has framed its long-haul cabins as the embodiment of French style. With an uncompromising approach, it has transformed the way people eat, sleep, and relax in the sky.
Now, the airline has launched a new product that takes this offering to new heights: La Première, available to select destinations including Paris, New York City, Los Angeles, Singapore, and soon, Boston and Tokyo.
As a fully reconceptualized first-class experience, La Première blends unparalleled luxury and exclusivity with a suite that embodies the French art de vivre.
“It’s a major step in our strategic roadmap,” said Benjamin Smith, CEO of Air France-KLM at the global launch of the new La Première experience in 2025. “We continue to invest in state-of-the-art products for our customers at every step of their journey, with the aim of positioning Air France at the highest level worldwide.”
La Première's announcement comes at a particularly timely moment. As world leaders prepare to gather in Davos, discussions will focus on the future of mobility, innovation, and leadership on the international stage. With its new offering, Air France aims to provide an experience designed for today's most discerning travelers.
A private journey on the ground
La Première begins long before take-off. In Paris, New York City, and Los Angeles, a private chauffeur waits to take you from home or hotel straight to the airport.
There, dedicated staff manage your luggage and check-in, before directing you through an exclusive security lane.
In Paris, travelers can enter a newly redesigned La Première lounge, which invites them to find moments of stillness in a convivial bar and relaxation areas. They can also opt for a treatment at the Sisley beauty spa, offering soothing treatments designed to make your journey as comfortable as possible.
And for those seeking total seclusion, there are three private suites available at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, each with its own dining room, bedroom, bathroom, and patio. Here, designer pieces signed by Charlotte Perriand and Philippe Starck are paired with private dining and a workspace to create the ambience of a secluded French townhouse.
A sense of exclusivity in the sky
Stepping on board after a private door-to-aircraft transfer, the sense of intimacy continues. La Première is arranged around just four suites dressed in full-grain leather and soft wool.
Each is framed by five windows (a first of its kind in commercial travel) and benefits from the absence of overhead bins for a space-enhancing experience, with storage drawers and hidden alcoves keeping personal items out of sight.
Each suite has been designed with a restrained palette and centers around a plush, wide armchair and separate chaise longue. Both serve as a place to read or watch a film, while the chaise longue unfolds into a fully flat bed, dressed in a mattress, duvet, and pillow by French bedding specialist Dumas. With the full-height curtains drawn, the suite becomes your own private cocoon.
Onboard amenities serve to enhance rather than interrupt that calm. Twin 32-inch 4K screens provide more than 1,500 hours of entertainment, while wireless charging allows travelers to stay connected. By the end of 2026, Air France’s entire fleet will be equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.
Even the smallest details, like the Sisley comfort kit containing four rejuvenating beauty products and several travel essentials, reinforce the sense of effortless French refinement.
Haute gastronomy at 35,000
If La Première feels like a home away from home, then the table is its dining room. Before boarding, La Première lounges in Paris, New York JFK, and Los Angeles serve a menu from Michelin starred icon Alain Ducasse and his team.
While on flights departing from Paris, the US, Japan, and Singapore, celebrated chefs present menus that tell the stories of their regions. As for dessert, passengers from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and on US stopovers can delight in exquisite creations from award-winning pastry chefs.
Across every menu, there is an emphasis on seasonality and sustainable sourcing, with the wine and cocktail list are built with the same care. Vintages from across the world have been expertly curated, while mixologist Matthias Giroud has crafted signature cocktails using artisanal French spirits.
Every component of La Première cements Air France’s belief that luxury is not measured in extravagance, but in the precision of the finer details. For the future traveler who values discretion as much as design, it is a wonderfully unique experience – offering a world that feels entirely one’s own.
